The neighborhood amenities include:
Like to fish? Try Hardy Lake. There's plenty of fish right now and we continually work with the Georgia Fish and Game Department to evaluate our lake and restock it for future enjoyment. Even if you don't fish, you can still enjoy the lake. There's a nice picnic area adjacent to it with tables and grills for picnicking or just relaxing and enjoying the serene beauty.
We are very proud of our Community Clubhouse. Maximum occupancy is 80. There is no fee for community events and/or functions. There is a rental fee and a deposit required for private rentals. Upon satisfactory inspection of the premises, the deposit will be returned. For current fees, please refer to the Social & Welcome Committee webpage or contact the committee chairperson. For further information, please contact the Clubhouse Coordinator. To rent the clubhouse, please send an email to rivershyreclubhouse@gmail.com.
Our neighborhood has been well planned to blend with the natural settings. Separating the villages are unmanaged, natural buffer zones that help create a quaint, small-village atmosphere. Additionally, over twenty acres of pristine wetlands have been set aside to remain in its natural beauty for all to enjoy. It is a peaceful area where you can enjoy a quiet walk. For the curious who wander through the area, wildlife abounds. You can see the undisturbed nesting areas of deer, ducks, and Canadian geese that return every year to raise a new family.
For your summertime pleasure, we have a beautifully designed Junior Olympic size pool. Membership for the Rivershyre Pool is included in the annual Rivershyre Community Association homeowner dues.
Reconstructed in 2020, the Social & Welcome Committee, with lots of help from other members of the community, worked to raise funds for our playground. With the labor of many neighborhood residents, our playground is ready to be enjoyed.
The courts are ready for your enjoyment. Please ... only soft soled tennis shoes are to be worn on the courts. Bicycles, skateboards, and roller blades are strictly forbidden as they damage the very expensive surface coating. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. To protect our courts, the gate is kept locked. To obtain a key, please contact an HOA Board Member. There is a nominal fee of $3.00 to cover the cost of producing the key.
