  • Street Trees and Covenant Violations Letter

    Dear Stallings Ridge Homeowner,

We are writing to you today to clear up the confusion caused by the recent mass mailings regarding street trees and covenant violations. We understand that receiving multiple, unedited, or inaccurate notices was both frustrating and alarming.

Please know that these letters were sent out in error by our property management company, Association Link. The Board provided explicit instructions regarding who should receive a general guidance letter versus a specific violation notice. Unfortunately, those directives were not followed, resulting in draft documents being mistakenly mailed to the entire community. Association Link has acknowledged this administrative failure and is working with us to remedy the situation, which includes fully reimbursing the HOA for the cost of the unnecessary postage.

In light of this confusion, the Board is placing all covenant enforcement actions regarding street trees on an official hold. Several homeowners have brought it to our attention that they received prior approval from the original developer to remove their trees. We are currently conducting a thorough investigation to verify these historical approvals and ensure our community records are completely accurate before any further steps are taken.

As your neighbors and volunteer Board members, our primary goal is to protect property values and continuously improve the Stallings Ridge community. While untangling administrative missteps like this takes time, please be assured that we are diligently managing the situation and holding our vendors accountable.

At this time, please disregard the previous mailings regarding the street trees. Finally, to help ensure you always have access to the most accurate and up-to-date information, we strongly encourage all homeowners to register on the official Stallings Ridge resident portal. Through the portal, you can easily:

The Stallings Ridge HOA Board of Directors"
